How does it work?

It all comes down to activated carbon: it holds back the molecules that make smoke smell. The smokebuddy and the Yocan Green filter what you breathe out, wherever you are. The purifiers filter the air in the whole room, with an extra H13 filter for fine particles.
Personal filter or purifier?

A personal filter (smokebuddy, Yocan Green) handles what you breathe out: at home, on the balcony, in the car or on the move. A purifier handles the air in the whole room: the compact up to 15 m², the 35 m² model for a living room.

Both filter your exhale with activated carbon. The smokebuddy is all-in-one: about 300 uses for the Original, 150 for the Jr, then you replace it. The Yocan Green is refillable: you keep the shell and swap the cartridge, 300+ uses each.
How long does a filter last?

About 300 uses for the smokebuddy Original, 150 for the Jr, 300+ per Yocan Green cartridge. When air flows less easily, it's time to change it.
For the purifiers, allow 2 to 4 months for the compact filter and 2 to 3 months for the 35 m² one, depending on use. Cartridges and replacement filters are sold on the site.
Are the purifiers noisy?

Very little. In night mode, about 23 dB for the 35 m² and under 28 dB for the compact: quiet enough to sleep next to.
The compact plugs in via USB-C: cable included, 5 V 2 A mains adapter not included.
